Sports Nutritionist Geetha ( International Olympic Committee ): I am a leading sports nutritionists based in Bangalore and one of the very few with a renowned degree from International Olympic Committee in India, a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with 17 years of diverse work experience encompassing academia, research, clinical, sports and corporate nutrition. As a nutrition expert, lifestyle coach I have conducted several workshops, seminars on sports nutrition, nutrition and fitness for multinational corporate houses, educational institutions and sports academies including the badminton coaches program at the prestigious Prakash Padukone Sports Management, Centre of Sports Excellence. I am a nutrition columnist for print and electronic media, a university first ranker, with several awards, gold medals at both under-graduate and post-graduate level (BSc, MSc). I currently mentor novice, elite athletes through evidence based dietary, and lifestyle practices to peak athletic performance who participate and win at state, national and international tournaments including ironman, ultra-endurance Swedman, Amsterdam marathon, Asian rowing Championship. I enjoy walking, yoga and indulge my time in healthy cooking.
